Cosy Carpets presents money and gifts to Eighteen And Under

Michael and Tricia from local firm Cosy Carpets today presented a cheque for £150, a cash donation of £50 and three large toys to children’s charity Eighteen And Under. Receiving the cheque and gifts were ten year olds Tannith Matthew and Holly Keogh, two members of the charities shadow management team.

Cosy Carpets has supported Eighteen And Under for many years. They collected the money by selling golf balls over a number of months. The toys were donated by readers who read about their generous donations last Christmas.

Laurie Matthew, Coordinator of Eighteen And Under said, ‘Thanks once again to Michael and Tricia for their wonderful generosity. The cash will boost our fundraising efforts at a traditionally difficult time of year and we know of a few children who desperately need our help to ensure they have a present to open at Christmas.’
